From floor plan to inspection-ready PDF
Volter draws the floor plan and the single-line diagram the inspection asks for, builds your board layout along the way, checks everything against the AREI and bundles it into one document. Here is what is inside.
Every job site in one library
For each project you see a thumbnail per floor, the address, the client and the inspection status. Search by address, client or town, filter on what is still in progress or ready for inspection, and open your work on any device you sign in to. There is no limit on the number of projects.
Draw the floor plan of the home
Place walls, doors and windows, or import an existing plan as DXF, PDF or image and calibrate the scale on a known distance. Put outlets, light points, switches and appliances where they hang in the home. None of it is required: you can start placing right away.
Official AREI symbols, with a legend
Every symbol follows the Belgian conventions, from outlets and light points to EV chargers and solar panels. The legend under your diagram builds itself from the symbols you actually used.
Assign devices to a circuit
Pick a circuit from the list and click the devices that belong to it. Every device takes on the colour of its circuit in the plan, the counter tracks how many are on it, and the bottom of the panel shows what is still unassigned. Cable cross-section, breaker and residual current device are listed with every circuit.
The single-line diagram is drawn for you
Once your devices are divided across circuits, Volter draws the single-line diagram. Cable cross-sections, breakers, residual current devices and circuit letters appear right away, in the conventions an inspector expects. Move something on the floor plan and the diagram keeps up.
Your distribution board, as it hangs
Build the board with breakers, residual current devices and supplies, and drag modules to rearrange them. Several boards per project, with the supply running from one to the next.
The same board as a tree
See the whole installation as a hierarchy, across every board, with the breaker, the cable cross-section and the number of loads per circuit. Drag a circuit onto an RCD to move it behind it.
Home automation in the board, down to the outputs
Add switching and dimming modules to your board. Every output gets its own address and circuit, and appears on the single-line diagram. The control type shows as a symbol on the module: push button, switch, detector, extension or remote control.
AREI validation while you draw
Volter checks whether your installation meets the rules in Book 1 that a diagram can show: the composition of your circuits, the cable cross-section against the breaker, the residual current regime and the dedicated circuits required. Every finding refers to the article so you can look it up. It stays a tool: checking that your installation complies remains the installer's job.
One PDF for the inspector
The floor plan per storey, the single-line diagram per board, the circuit table and the component list, in one document. The footer carries your job site, the installation with voltage and EAN, your details as the installer and a box for the inspector. You can also export as PNG for a quote or an email.
Material list per room
Every symbol you draw is counted, per floor and per room. So you know what to order, and on site you see per room what belongs there. The list sits in your PDF dossier and always matches the drawing.
